70 Hester Street
Directed by Casimir Nozkowski · Starring Casimir Nozkowski · 2014
A filmmaker revisits the 130-year-old Lower East Side building he grew up in, once a synagogue, a still and a factory, before it is sold.
A warm, personal essay about one New York building that becomes a meditation on every childhood home.
A film about my childhood home, all childhood homes and the past lives of old buildings.
