7:35 in the Morning

Directed by Nacho Vigalondo · Starring Marta Belenguer, Nacho Vigalondo, Antonio Tato, Borja Cobeaga · 2003

At 7:35 one morning, a woman walks into a café to find the customers in strange silence, until a man stands up and bursts into a love song the whole room seems rehearsed to join.

An Oscar-nominated gem that starts as a charming musical number and slyly curdles into something far stranger.

A woman enters a cafe only to find its diners in complete silence. Then… a man breaks into song. It's a surprising, genre-bending film nominated for an Oscar in 2004.
