A GIRL NAMED ELASTIKA
Directed by Guillaume Blanchet · Starring Mike Paterson, Léa Geronimo Rondot · 2013
Elastika, a fearless girl made of rubber bands stretched between pushpins, lives for speed, fireworks and wild seas, leaping from one daredevil adventure to the next across a cork-board world.
A daredevil girl made of rubber bands and pushpins races through a wildly inventive, award-winning stop-motion adventure.
She's young, dreamy and fearless, she drives cars way too fast, she's also a yamakasi. She likes adventure, fireworks and unrelenting seas. From the day I conceived her, I've been a worried father. And a proud one too.
