A Sonic Pulse

Directed by Dorothy Allen-Pickard, Antoine Marinot · Starring Richard France, Troi Lee, Helen Oakley · 2019

D/deaf music lovers reveal how they feel electronic music through vibration and the body, in a visceral, communal and scientific exploration of sound beyond hearing.

A sensory, eye-opening film that redefines what it means to listen, through D/deaf fans of bass-heavy electronic music.

"Music shouldn't be defined by hearing people because it's about feeling vibrations and frequencies."
