Backwoods

Directed by Ryan Mackfall · Starring Ciaran Clarke, Kevin Horsham, Noah Wallace · 2019

In 1907 Massachusetts, a scholar strays from his path into an apparently deserted house, where a beguiling book of dark secrets takes hold of anyone who touches it.

A moody period Lovecraft adaptation with a cursed book at its heart, rich with slow-burning dread.
