Balloonfest
Directed by Nathan Truesdell · Starring Mary Allen, Big Chuck, Treb Heining, John Rinaldi · 2017
In 1986 Cleveland released nearly 1.5 million balloons to set a world record. Archival footage shows how the celebration went badly wrong.
An almost unbelievable true story, told through archival footage, where spectacle turns into disaster.
