Black Superheroes
With Jermaine Fowler, from Sorry to Bother You
Directed by Ed Mundy · Starring Kevin Barnett, Nore Davis, Jermaine Fowler, Calise Hawkins · 2013
A sketch imagining the hard-luck lives of Black superheroes, whose powers never seem to get the respect Superman or Batman enjoy.
A sharp sketch that skewers superhero clichés and racial double standards in three minutes.
Compared to Superman or Batman, Black Superheroes have had it pretty tough.
