Directed by Georgia Lee · Starring Kathy Shao-Lin Lee, Josephine Wan, Azubah Denjongpa, Jennifer Lee · 2000
Shot in Oakland and built on Hassan Galedary's words, a poetic short about defying odds and stereotypes to find your own way to bloom.
A short, heartfelt Oakland poem about growing through the cracks toward the light.
A couple years ago, Ian and I were in Oakland for a commercial and decided to shoot a short on our down day. Bloom is about defying odds and stereotypes. It's through the cracks, that we can begin to see the light. Embod
