Changeling

Directed by Marie Clare Cushinan, Ryan O'Neill · Starring Marie Clare Cushinan, Michael Mormecha, Jake O'Kane, Ryan O'Neill · 2021

Ireland, 1879: as a second famine looms, a young mother left alone with her inconsolable infant son falls prey to fear and superstition while her husband travels to sell his poitín.

An atmospheric Irish folk horror rooted in famine-era changeling superstition, where hunger and isolation prove as frightening as any fairy.
