Considering Cats
Directed by Matt Newby · 2025
Shot on Super 8 at the Long Island Pet Expo, this playful experimental film sets out to answer a simple question: what is a cat?
A tongue-in-cheek, grainy Super 8 love letter to cats and the people who adore them.
More ‘pro-cat propaganda’ than documentary, this short experimental film—shot at the Long Island Pet Expo in 2023—seeks to answer the question: What is a cat?
