Daughter of the Bride

Directed by Tamar Rudoy · Starring Diana Ben-David, Sharon De-Mayo, Tamar Fried, Timna Rose Perets · 2016

On the day of her mother's wedding, withdrawn Tirza is forced into the family portrait—and a beautician she meets offers unexpected warmth.

A quiet, perceptive portrait of a detached young woman finding a moment of connection on a family occasion.

Tirza lives in a dim and detached reality, when this day comes and forces her out of herself and into her own image in the family portrait.
