David A Smith - Sign Artist

A portrait of David A Smith, one of the few remaining traditional UK glass artists, at work on hand-crafted gilded and embossed signs and mirrors.

Rare, beautifully shot access to a dying craft of gilding and glass embossing.

David A Smith is a name that has become synonymous in Sign-Writing and Glass gilding circles, with high quality, hand crafted reverse glass signs and decorative silvered and gilded mirrors.
