Dell'ammazzare il maiale (2011)
Directed by Simone Massi · 2011
In rural Italy, the traditional slaughter of a pig unfolds through dense, shifting hand-drawn images of memory and country life.
Simone Massi's hypnotic hand-scratched animation turns a rural ritual into haunting poetry.
