Dreamland
Directed by Gianluigi Toccafondo · 2021
Driven by Puccini's Tosca, a flowing painted journey through Rome's margins weaves together Pasolini, Caligari's Amore tossico, Handel and the demolished Spina di Borgo.
Toccafondo's fluid, painterly animation turns opera and Roman street life into a dazzling visual poem.
