Escape from Syria - Faiza's story

Directed by Jack Newman · Starring Faiza · 2017

A Syrian mother recounts fleeing across the border to Jordan with her two children, animated from the drawings the children made of their journey.

Real children's drawings bring a refugee mother's testimony to vivid, heartbreaking life.

After visiting Jordan last year I interviewed a Syrian Refugee who fled across the border from Syria with her two children. I asked her young children to draw pictures of their journey.
