Fluent Dysphasia
From the director of The Stranger
Directed by Daniel O'Hara · Starring Stephen Rea, Jayne Stynes, Paddy C. Courtney, Richard Morton · 2004
After a night of drinking, a taciturn father wakes up able to speak only fluent Irish, forcing a strange new kind of conversation with his teenage daughter.
Stephen Rea is wonderfully deadpan in a clever comedy where losing English helps a father finally talk.
Written and directed by Daniel O'Hara. Featuring Stephen Rea, Jayne Stynes, and Paddy C Courtney.
