Grandma Shirley

Directed by Travis LaBella · 2016

A filmmaker records his grandmother on three visits to New York over a year, during which her life changes dramatically.

An intimate, tender family portrait that captures how quickly life can shift in old age.

One year ago I decided to film my Grandma each time I visited New York. Over the course of three separate visits, her life changed dramatically.
