Gravity Of Center

Directed by Thibaut Duverneix · Starring Elon Höglund, Emmanuelle le Phan, Daniel Mayo, Anne Plamondon · 2011

In a wordless dance film, bodies move as herd and as pack, exploring the tension between social assimilation and the need to stand apart, and between abundance and scarcity.

Named to TIFF's Canada's Top Ten, a striking dance film about the pull between the crowd and the self.

Gravity of Center is a poetic investigation of the herd vs. pack mentality, the dichotomy of abundance and scarcity, and the inner conflict between social assimiliation vs. the need for individualism.
