In 1994, a Bosnian refugee family is granted residency and settles in a small Dutch village, where their earnest efforts to make a new home give rise to a string of absurd encounters.

A dry, sharply observed look at displacement that finds both absurd humor and quiet ache in trying to belong.

A young Bosnian refugee family ends up in a small village in the Netherlands after getting a residence permit in 1994. Absurd situations arise as they are trying to make this new world their home.
