It Was Love to Me

Directed by Raza Rizvi · Starring Mo Ankir, Ramon Suzara, Lexi Stein, Bryan Mittelstadt · 2024

A 15-year-old tennis player's admiration for an older player he idolizes turns into something he can't yet name.

A lushly shot, quietly charged queer coming-of-age story told through glances on a tennis court.

He's 15. The player he idolizes is 18. And something between them on the court is impossible to name.
