Short of the Week
Jean-François
Directed by Tom Haugomat, Bruno Mangyoku · 2009
As a champion swimmer powers through the pool, fragments of his childhood keep surfacing in his mind, memories he cannot seem to outswim.
A strikingly stylised French animation in which every lap pulls a champion swimmer deeper into his past.
A champion swimmer is haunted by images from his childhood.
