Lies

Directed by Jonas Odell · Starring Lisa Norström, Rebecca Holmbert, Yasmin Rahmani, David Palmberg · 2008

Three people recount, in their own words, lies they once told: to strangers, to those they loved and to themselves, each story brought to life in its own animated style.

Real first-person confessions, inventively animated, explore the lies we tell strangers, loved ones and ourselves.

In a post-truth world, lying is of course an appropriate subject for a film. This animated short presents three (hopefully) true stories about telling lies.
