An exhilarating dance inspired by Japanese culture in an Icelandic snow storm

Dancers move through an Icelandic snowstorm in a film exploring 'Ma', the Japanese idea of the meaningful space between all things.

Striking choreography against snow and wind turns an untranslatable Japanese idea into pure movement.

The Japanese have a knack for describing situations and phenomena rendered ineffable in the English language. Such as the moon’s reflection on water, the therapeutic benefits of spending time in the forest, and sunlight
