Marianne's Theatre

A troupe of marionette acrobats takes the stage, but every act goes comically awry, until you start to wonder who is really pulling the strings.

A magical blend of puppet theatre and animation from Oscar-winning NFB master Co Hoedeman, full of slapstick charm.

In Co Hoedeman's animated short about a troupe of marionette acrobats, everything that can go wrong does. No matter what the ringleader does, each act goes awry until we begin to wonder who's really running the show. Eve
