Meeting Again: Remembering the Millfield Mine Disaster

Directed by Justin Zimmerman · Starring Sigmund Kozma · 2001

The last survivor of Ohio's 1930 Millfield mine explosion, Sigmund Kozma, recounts the day that shaped his life.

A rare first-hand testimony of Ohio's worst mining disaster, shot on 16mm and finished on film.

Through the eyes of the last survivor, Sigmund Kozma, Meeting Again captures a terrible personal moment that makes up the only real record of Ohio's largest mining disaster. This was my first sync sound film, shot on 16m
