Milk of Amnesia

Directed by Jeffrey Noyes Scher · 1992

Dancers flicker into life through Jeff Scher's restless, painterly rotoscoped frames, set to the rhythm of tango.

A hypnotic rotoscoped tango from an experimental animation master, pulsing with colour and motion.

My second rotoscope film after a long break, from 1992. Premiered at the New York Film Festival.
