Muto

Directed by Blu · 2008

Painted directly onto city walls and photographed frame by frame, a stream of strange creatures crawls, splits and transforms across facades, floors and forgotten corners.

Blu's legendary wall-painted animation sends ever-mutating creatures crawling across real city walls, frame by painstaking frame.

Familiar morph-animation on a ridiculous scale—street-artist Blu takes his animation to the streets of Buenos Aires, onto the walls, and into its hidden places.
