As her aunt cares for Grandma on her deathbed in the living room, nine-year-old Trang slowly wakes up to what is happening around her, and to how much space a single body takes up.

A hushed, beautifully observed drama about a child's first brush with death inside a Vietnamese-Canadian home.

9 year-old Trang starts to shift out of oblivion as her aunt Ut tends to Grandma, who lies in her deathbed in the living room. How can a single body occupy so much space? What will happen when Grandma is gone?
