NEIGHBOURS

Directed by Norman McLaren · Starring Grant Munro, Jean Paul Ladouceur · 1952

Two content neighbours lounging on their lawns discover a single flower blooming on the line between their properties, and admiration soon turns into a dispute over who owns it.

McLaren animates real actors frame by frame in this startling, Oscar-winning parable about a petty quarrel spiralling out of control.
