With Roger Rees, from Robin Hood: Men in Tights
Directed by Barry Purves · Starring Barry Purves, Roger Rees · 1990
An actor auditions before an unseen director by performing the complete works of Shakespeare on an empty stage, at breakneck speed.
A virtuoso stop-motion tour de force that crams all of Shakespeare into five dazzling, witty minutes.
An empty stage, one actor, and the complete works of William Shakespeare. This is an audition quite unlike any other, and with a great deal at stake.
