Overture / אוברטורה

Directed by Dan Sachar · Starring Miko Ben Porat, Nili Sachar · 2011

A lone survivor scavenges a dying forest world while fragments of a repressed past resurface, until a woman appears, determined to make him face it.

A haunting, poetic post-apocalyptic reverie that critics ranked among the best shorts of its year.

"Ever since I saw it last June it has haunted my thoughts like almost no other film this year, short or feature... a poetic sci-fi at its very best."
