Paper City

Directed by Maciek Janicki · 2013

In one fluid take, a paper metropolis unfolds from the page, rising with roads, forests and mountains before crumpling back down.

A mesmerising single-shot journey through a city that folds and unfolds like paper.

The streets are paved with paper. This delicate animation follows the charming rise and fold of a fragile metropolis.
