Animated short film on the excesses of tourism
Directed by Laura Vandewynckel · Starring Thomas Bellinck, Liesje De Backer, Jerom Sturm, Nico Sturm · 2014
People on opposite sides of an ocean each set off for a better place, crossing paths without ever truly meeting.
A sly, geometric Cannes Cinéfondation pick that skewers tourism and our search for paradise.
Paradise is the story of people heading for a better place on either side of the ocean. Although at times their paths do cross, they never really seem to meet.
