Quercus

Directed by Marina Waltz · Starring Leander Deeny, Kathy Rose O'Brien · 2017

A young protester chains herself to an ancient oak marked for felling, and a jovial, chainsaw-wielding local starts telling her about the dryads who guard the forest.

Folk horror with an eco-protest twist: an unnerving two-hander beneath an ancient oak.
