Shackle

Directed by Ainslie Henderson · 2023

Three woodland spirits act out humanity's warring urges, to create, to possess and to be admired, in a handmade forest fable.

A beautifully tactile stop-motion fable from a singular Scottish animator, as playful as it is pointed.

Three woodland spirits explore the conflicting, archetypal human drives of creativity, possessiveness and our desire for status.
