Shots in the Dark with David Godlis

Directed by Lewie Kloster, Noah Kloster · Starring David Godlis · 2020

Photographer David Godlis recalls the nights he spent shooting the punk scene at CBGB in the late 1970s, as his photographs spring to life through black-and-white watercolor animation.

A gorgeous, electrifying trip back to punk's birthplace, told by the photographer who captured it after dark.
