Skin of Glass
From the director of Close
Directed by Lukas Dhont · Starring Ergün Ozyürt · 2012
On Antwerp's Left Bank, children whose parents are away for unknown lengths of time live together, dreaming of the river that could carry them away.
An early, poetic documentary from Lukas Dhont, director of Girl and Close.
I started from a place on Left Bank where the children of parents who are absent for an unknown period of time (sailors, immigrants) live together, surrounded by big buildings that isolate them from the rest of the world
