Summer Blues

Directed by Frank Mosvold · Starring Kristoffer Berre Alberts, Hanne Backe Hansen, Tord Vandvik Haugen, Julia Schacht · 2002

Drawn from memories of youthful summer holidays at a family summer house, a gay coming-of-age story unfolds over one Norwegian summer.

A personal, nostalgic Norwegian coming-of-age story shot where its director spent his own summers.

Here is a short film I made more than 10 years ago, in 2002. It is based on memories of yesteryears summer holidays. The film is shot at my parents summer house, where I spent the summers of my youth.
