George, an immobile robotic service unit at a dingy convenience store, longs for a friend and starts rewriting his own code to understand a customer's joke.

A charming, offbeat robot comedy about loneliness and the strange business of learning to laugh.

George works at a convenience store, desperately hoping for a friend. But George is a robotic service unit, and robotic service units do not have friends. Not yet, anyway.
