THE BOX

Directed by Dusan Kastelic · Starring Mateja Staric, Dusan Kastelic · 2017

In a dark, sealed box, rooted, box-headed elders sleep through their existence, until one young creature wakes up, starts to grow and looks for a way out.

A surreal, exuberant allegory with uncanny creature design that makes thinking outside the box literal.

A box has creatures.
