The Cat Piano
Directed by Ari Gibson, Eddie White · Starring Nick Cave · 2009
In a noir city of cats, the town's singers vanish one by one into a monstrous instrument, and a world-weary poet resolves to bring them back.
Nick Cave narrates this gorgeous, darkly stylish noir poem about a city of cats and a monstrous musical instrument.
A dark, animated fantasy pulled off with style and panache. The Musicians of this cat-town have disappeared, sacrificed to the infernal Cat Piano. Our world-weary hero must fight to get them back.
