The Elephant's Song
Directed by Lynn Tomlinson · 2018
Sung by her old friend, a farm dog, this ballad recounts the true story of Old Bet, the first circus elephant in America.
Luminous painterly animation and a plaintive song turn a forgotten chapter of American history into a moving elegy.
The sad but true story of Old Bet, the first circus elephant in America, set to a tune sung by her friend, an old farm dog.
