The Mess
Directed by Dorothy Allen-Pickard · Starring Ellice Stevens · 2017
As Ellice Stevens slides into a bipolar low, her room descends into mess. It is a cycle she never sees coming but that always returns, captured in an inventive hybrid of documentary and performance.
An inventive, candid four-minute portrait that makes the invisible cycles of bipolar disorder visible through one messy room.
