The Old Crocodile (Le vieux crocodile)

A crocodile so old he saw the pyramids being built is driven from the Nile and drifts out to sea, where an unexpected friendship begins. Adapted from Léopold Chauveau's 1923 tale.

Koji Yamamura's exquisite hand-drawn fable is gentle and wickedly dark in equal measure.
