THE PURCHASE
Directed by Patrick Townsend · Starring Taylor Buoro, Mitch Wright, Bruce Guo, Kirsten Battin · 2021
When their smart home's auto-shopping algorithm delivers Liz a very questionable robot, a distant couple is forced to confront what's broken between them.
A sly near-future premise that turns an awkward delivery into a sharp relationship drama.
A couple gets a robot.
