THE RACE

Directed by Michaël Le Meur · 2015

Humanity charges ahead in an endless, headlong race for growth, but what if that rush were driven not by free will but by mechanical forces ruling the universe itself?

A hypnotic, wordless symphony of circles and machinery that treats human progress as a Kubrickian cosmic mechanism.

Eternally dissatisfied and doomed to grow, humanity rushes forward at top speed in a mad, ceaseless race. What if this headlong rush wasn't the fruit of free will — but the result of mechanical forces ruling the universe
