The Silent Child

Directed by Chris Overton · Starring Rachel Fielding, Philip York, Rachel Shenton, Maisie Sly · 2017

A profoundly deaf little girl lives in silent isolation within her busy hearing family, until a caring social worker begins teaching her sign language, opening a door her parents are slow to understand.

An Oscar-winning, gently devastating drama with a remarkable deaf child lead and a message that lingers long after the credits.
