This is Dominica — The Nature Island

Directed by Van Ditthavong · 2014

A three-chapter portrait of Dominica, from its steaming Boiling Lake to a mountain man who carved out a life with an axe and machete, ending in the island's sounds.

A beautifully unhurried portrait of the Caribbean's wildest island, with no resorts and no sales pitch.

Most islands sell you a beach. Dominica sells you nothing and that's exactly the point.
