To Know Her 母 • 緣

Directed by Natalie A. Chao · 2021

Shot decades apart on the same miniDV camcorder, a filmmaker searches home videos for her mother and explores her family's relationship with her.

An intimate, poetic Sundance documentary that turns old home video into a moving search for a mother.

[Director Note: The first minute of the film purposefully does not contain subtitles]
