Usagi Yojimbo - The Last Request
Directed by Roel Robles · 2014
Miyamoto Usagi, a wandering rabbit ronin, takes on a final request that tests his sense of honor in a stop-motion take on Stan Sakai's comic.
Painstaking stop-motion brings Stan Sakai's beloved rabbit samurai to tactile life, and it won the makers the feature rights.
Usagi fans, by popular demand, here's the latest version of the proof of concept short film that we created and presented to Stan. This is the short film that allowed us to procure the feature film rights!
